Connecting Stripe to accept vendor payments
To collect booth fees from vendors, you need to connect a Stripe account. Stripe is the payment processor Convene uses, and it's free to set up.
During onboarding, you'll be prompted to connect Stripe in the Payments step. Click Connect with Stripe and follow the prompts to create a new account or link an existing one. Stripe will ask for your business details and bank account information for payouts.
Once connected, vendors can pay booth fees through the platform and funds will be transferred to your bank account on your payout schedule. You can manage your Stripe settings and view transactions directly in your Stripe dashboard.
