I have always been a builder. What began with childhood Lego marathons evolved into constructing intricate theatre sets in college. There was a unique magic in set building—transforming a conceptual vision into a tangible stage reality. This passion fueled my career as a professional set designer and teacher, providing the space to expand my creativity.

Seeking a new challenge, I transitioned into woodworking. The spark intensified when I decided to craft something handcrafted for my wife. Noticing our store-bought cutting boards lacked character, I researched artisanal techniques and discovered the elegance of wood spreaders and cake knives. The entire process—from initial design to the polished finish—was exhilarating. Since then, I have perfected my craft using diverse hardwoods to create unique charcuterie boards. For me, there is no greater joy than making.
