I see art as visual poetry conveyed through dramatic light, vibrant color, and bold mark-making. Though trained with a foundation in contemporary realism, my work is impressionistic. For years, I studied portraiture and then branched out to other subjects. Today, I paint everything from florals, seascapes, still-life and landscape to portraits of people and pets, always seeking to connect to the viewer on an emotional level.
