For vendors selling food items, it's essential to comply with local board of health guidelines. These requirements cover food safety practices, proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure public safety and regulatory compliance. Please review these guidelines carefully before setting up your booth.

FOR SPECIAL EVENTS
IMPORTANT: Holmdel Township considers this market a Special Event. This market is not part of the regular Farmers and Makers Market Season. Even if you have received a license for the regular Farmers and Makers Market, you must complete an additional application for this specific event along with a $25 fee
All food vendors MUST get approval from the Monmouth County Board of Health to sell at our markets.
Bell Works vendors must also submit an application along with a check for $25 to Holmdel Township so you can get the Holmdel food handlers permit specifically for this event and each special event (eg Valentines Day, Vintage Market, Holiday Markets).
Please note that you must submit these applications and pay any permit fees 7 days prior to the first market date you plan on selling at.
Here is what you’ll need to do in order to sell produce, food & baked goods at Bell Works Fresh.
- Review the Vendor Cover Letter for Holmdel Twp.
- Complete Holmdel Food Handlers Application
- Complete Holmdel Temporary Food Handler’s License
- Complete Monmouth County Board of Health application and email to the Health Inspector Michael Horzepa at Michael.Horzepa@co.monmouth.nj.us
Mail or Deliver the Holmdel Application and a check for $25 made payable to “Holmdel Township” to:
