What we shipped this week (March 30-April 5)
Here's a quick look at what we shipped on the Convene platform this past week (March 30 through April 5). Lots of good stuff landed, so we wanted to make sure you're in the loop.
New Features
• Multi-Space Bookings – Vendors can now reserve more than one space at a market date. This makes it easier for larger vendors or those with bigger setups to grab the room they need in one go.
• Payout Breakdown by Market – The payouts summary now shows revenue broken out by each market, so you can see exactly where earnings are coming from.
• CRM and Referral Program – We rolled out new tools on the platform side for managing vendor relationships and tracking referrals. This lays the groundwork for more targeted outreach and growth.
• Community Collection Pages – Market collection pages are now live, giving us a way to showcase related Convene and non-Convene markets together.
Improvements and Fixes
• Credit System Fix – We caught and fixed a regression that was affecting how credits were applied across organizations. Everything is working smoothly again.
• Better Payment Error Handling – Added extra checks around payment amounts so the platform catches and flags issues earlier, before they become a problem.
• Search UX Improvements – The admin search forms are now more responsive and easier to use on all screen sizes.
• Performance Fixes – Resolved a memory leak that was quietly slowing things down. The platform should feel snappier as a result.
Under the Hood
• Platform Integrations – New internal tooling to help us build and ship features faster for you. Nothing you need to worry about, but it means good things are coming.
• Security and Dependency Updates – We updated Rails and a handful of other libraries to their latest versions, keeping everything secure and up to date.
As always, if anything looks off or you have questions about these updates, just reply to this email. We're happy to walk through any of it with you.
