What we shipped this week (March 16-22)

Hi everyone,

Busy week! We shipped a few features that should make your day-to-day easier, plus squashed some bugs that were causing headaches. Here's the rundown.

New Features

Staff Listings

You can now add and manage your on-site team members right from your admin panel. Staff show up on your public organization page so vendors and customers know who to look for at the market. This is useful for when you want to highlight your team but don’t want those members accessing your organizer admin.

Auto-Approve Applications and Orders

Tired of manually approving every vendor application and booking order?

You can now turn on auto-approve at the organization level as well as a per vendor level. When it's on, applications and orders skip the review queue and go straight through. You can turn it off anytime if you want to go back to manual review and it has been disabled by default for your account.

Organization Contact Forms

Inquiries from your organization page now go directly to you instead of the general Convene inbox. This means faster responses for your vendors and customers, and less back-and-forth for everyone.

Vendor Support Docs and Onboarding

We added help resources at key points in the vendor experience. New vendors will find it easier to get up to speed, and existing vendors have quick access to answers when they need them.

Improvements and Fixes

• Email replies now go to the right place. Several notification emails were routing replies back to the Convene support inbox instead of to you. That's fixed now, so when a vendor hits reply, it lands in your inbox.
• Search is less jumpy. The search bar in admin panels was submitting before you finished typing. We slowed it down a bit so it waits for you to finish.
• CAPTCHA works better. The verification widget on forms now re-renders properly when you navigate between pages, so you won't get stuck on a broken form.
• Fixed a couple of page errors. The careers page and some organizer views were occasionally crashing due to missing data. Both are patched up and working smoothly.
• Background job reliability. Improved how the platform handles background tasks so things like email sends and data processing are more resilient.
