What we shipped this week (April 20-April 27)
Here's a quick look at what we shipped this week.
MAJOR IMPROVEMENT
Vendor Application Overhaul
The vendor application form got a major facelift. It now uses a two-column layout with your organization's logo, name, and details on the left, and the form on the right (collapses nicely on mobile). We also added a real-time progress bar so applicants can see how far along they are.
We made the form friendlier for older users too: larger checkboxes, bigger hint text, and a phone number placeholder. Required fields are clearly marked.
On the validation side, the form now checks all required fields at once instead of one at a time. If something's missing, applicants see clear, specific error messages right next to the field that needs attention. No more guessing why the submit button isn't working.
NEW FEATURE
Multi-Space Vendor Visibility
For markets that allow vendors to book multiple spaces, admins now see amber-highlighted groupings on the bookings page. The first row shows a "2 spaces" badge, and the next rows show "Space 2 of 2" so it reads as a clear group.
There's also a new "Extra Space" filter toggle in the filter bar. It only shows up for markets that actually use the multi-space feature, so it won't clutter things for everyone else.
NEW FEATURE
SMS Notifications for New Vendors
When you create a vendor account through the admin panel, you can now send them a welcome text message at the same time. Just check the "Send SMS" box (only visible if your org has SMS enabled and you've entered a phone number). The message includes their name and your organization name.
BUG FIXES
Squashed Bugs
- Fixed a "session expired" error that some vendors were hitting when trying to cancel and rebook from their dashboard. The rebook button works reliably now.
- Fixed an error that could appear on the organizer profile page related to analytics integrations.
HOUSEKEEPING
Under the Hood
Cleaned up and consolidated our demo environment reset process so it runs more reliably. Also updated a few third-party libraries to stay current.
That's it for this week. As always, reach out if you have questions or run into anything unexpected.
